In order for prescription medicines to be taken by children in school, a note / letter from your child’s G.P. must be sent to the Board of Management. When the Board of Management gives approval, these medicines must be taken by the children themselves.
Non-prescription medicines will not be administered in school under any circumstances. This is the policy of the Board of Management. Please do not ask your child’s teacher to administer a non-prescription medicine in school.
Parents / guardians are welcome to administer medicines in school, if necessary.
