General Illnesses
Children should not be in school if they are ill. Please keep your child at home until they are well enough to be at school all day.
Infectious Illnesses
Please notify the school if your child has any of the infectious illnesses listed below as information about the illness will need to be communicated to other parents.
- Chicken Pox
- Covid-19
- Hand, Foot and Mouth
- Headlice (see below)
- Impetigo
- MRSA
- Norovirus
- Ringworm
- Rubella (German Measles)
- Scabies
- Scarlet Fever
- Slapped Cheek Syndrome
Headlice
Please check your child’s hair regularly for the presence of headlice or nits. It is recommended to only treat your child’s hair if headlice or nits are present and not to treat hair as a preventative measure.
