The school day for children in Junior & Senior Infants ends at 2:10p.m. and for children in 1^st to 6^th Class at 3:10p.m. If you need to collect your child before the end of their school day, please go to our secretary's office at the main entrance.

We respectfully ask parents, or a nominated responsible adult, to be there at the correct time to collect children. Children who are not collected on time can become anxious. Habitual lateness is unfair on both the child and their teacher. Where a parent is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact the school.

The Board of Management and the staff of St Mary’s N.S. does not accept responsibility for children after the official closing time of 2:10p.m. (Junior & Senior Infants) or 3:10p.m. (1^st to 6^th Class). The only exception to this is when there is an approved activity, for example a school trip, which may necessitate a later collection time.

Junior & Senior Infants

Children in Junior & Senior Infants are to be collected by a parent or responsible adult from the main school building at 2:10p.m. There are three collection points which are clearly marked with the teacher's name on each door.

1st to 6th Class

Children from 1^st to 6^th Class will leave the school building with their class teacher and will be brought to the main gate at the front of the school by their teacher.

Suaimhneas Mhuire

Children attending Suaimhneas Mhuire may be collected from the external door at the child's classroom.
