A special message to our wonderful communion classes.
Dear Boys and Girls,
We know that you were all looking forward to your special day today. We had been working so hard in school, learning new prayers and songs and talking about how you were going to celebrate your First Communion with your families and friends.
Many of you had bought new Communion outfits that you were looking forward to wearing today. Some of you have family who had planned to travel from across the world to be there to see you on this hugely important day.
We are all so proud of how hard you have been working at home during this time and for accepting that, right now, things have to be a little different.
Although your celebration is on ‘pause’ for now, remember that you will get to have your special day in the future and we can’t wait to share it with you.
